It was in Wem she was converted at a young age and first began teaching in Sunday School and the youth groups. Tirzah did a Ba Hons in Theological Studies at the Evangelical Theological College of Wales, Bryntirion, after which she spent time in South Wales working in various youth groups. During this time Tirzah gained a CELTA qualification.
